Pyramid Wooden Planter for garden decor

I own a small garden in front of my house, it is about 7feet wide and 25feet long. Though not so big, it is enough for kitchen of my wife and me. Each year, we can have a good harvest from the garden. The planting works and harvest are really great pleasure in our spare times. And most of all, all the vegetables and fruits grow without any chemical fertilizer, only organic fertilizer added to soil, thus they are 100% healthy.

This year, we plant over ten species of vegetables in the garden. Thanks to our hard work, especially my wife’s careful nursing, all the vegetables grow very well. Tomatoes begin plant fruits which are about Ping-pong size now. Besides red tomatoes, I also plant purple tomatoes and the fruits really special. My wife and I are just waiting for the ripe of fruits so can have a taste. Cucumber stems are about 40cm tall and begin climb the ropes I already set up, some are blooming lovely yellow flowers and will plant fruits soon. Chives not grow so tall but can harvest now. Potatoes grow very healthy and have plant fruits under earth already. Some Kidney beans also begin climbing grids. Eggplants are blooming purple flowers and will plant small fruits very soon. Garland chrysanthemum just grow out of soil, they are so fresh and tender. But they are too dense and I will remove some so the remain ones can have a good growth. Lettuce still small, but they grow quick with enough water and I can have first harvest of them in one week time. There are also some Chinese chives in the garden, but they not grow so well, I do not know what is the reason.

This is really a lovely garden. Yet, there is still a small deficiency in the garden. There is a square concrete well which is about 30inch long, 30inch wide and about 4inch above land, it is just in the center of the garden. I can do nothing to it, it can not be buried by soil or destroyed. Once I had put water barrel on it, but it really seems not so beautiful. It puzzled me for quite some time how to deal with it.

Until last week, my wife came to a suggestion-why not place a raised garden planter on it? This is really a good idea. The planter can cover the concrete well, we can plant in the planter and the planter can be moved conveniently if needed. I start to search for the raised planter that will be suitable. At first, we concentrate on a square elevated vegetable planter with bottom which is about 31.5 x 31.5 x 31.5 inch. It seems the right style and size, but we finally realized that it is too higher and not so easy to move. Occasionally, we came across a website and found a pyramid garden planter which is 28L x 28W x 20H inch. It consists of 5 tiers, enable gardeners plant different species of flowers and vegetables in one.

We got the pyramid planter by weekends and set up very quickly, just stack the wooden boards one by one, no screws or bolts. Fill the planter with soil, we plant some flowers in it and place it on concrete well. Wow, really nice. Right size and the 4 inch height just keep wet from wooden planter. The concrete platform seems specially built for this elevated garden planter. Plant with different flowers, the pyramid planter integrated with surround greens so naturally. Now, the small garden gets total perfect for our family.
